Eating vs Smoking:

There are many differences between smoking and eating, or ingesting cannabinoids. The appeal of cannabis infused edibles may lie behind the unlimited, tastier options compared to traditional smoking. It is arguable that edibles are a far healthier alternative to smoking cannabis, due to the negative health effects associated with smoke inhalation.

Each product contains a specified quantity of medical marijuana which is digested in the stomach, or in the mouth, depending.

Edibles are absorbed through the digestive system and may take anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours to fully kick in, compared to the almost instantaneous absorption of cannabinoids through the bloodstream when smoking.

The effects associated with ingesting cannabis are drastically different and longer lasting compared to the effects of smoking cannabis. More often, eating, or ingesting cannabinoids is associated with a body-focused, sedating couch-lock type of high.

Benefits of 1:1 THC:CBD

A dose of 1:1 THC:CBD can induce a state of mind where you feel really good, but without too many racing thoughts or jittery impulses.

A common misconception people often practice is the guideline stating that CBD is strictly medical marijuana and THC is the recreational kind. Both can be used medically or recreationally, and they can even be used together. When used in different increments, various outcomes will occur.

Those who prefer THC heavy strains can find that mixing CBD with it can tone down the psychological effects a bit so they aren’t so intense. On the same token, users that like to indulge in CBD heavy strains prefer a bit of THC added to give them a mild body buzz that can ease pain or discomfort from physical illnesses. This is because CBD changes THC’s ability to connect and react to brain receptors.

Mixing together the two compounds in different ratios can give users a wide range of benefits. Combining cannabis’ main and secondary active ingredients – THC and CBD in equal amounts tames the euphoria of THC while calming anxiety.

Eating edibles with a 1:1 THC:CBD ratio brings you the best of both worlds, taking the edge off while leaving you in control, blissful and relaxed.
